Prost-atomegaly in a young adolescent: unusual presentation with rare diagnosis

Prostatic mesenchymal tumours are extremely uncommon benign tumors and very few cases have been published. Our case presented with diarrhea increased urinary frequency normal serum PSA levels. On multi-parametric MRI diffusely enlarging prostate loss of zonal anatomy possibility inflammatory etiology was suggested. Trus guided biopsies were reviewed, which followed by immunohistochemistry aided in the diagnosis ganglioneuroma. Surgical resection represents only choice for both treatment. Because nature ganglioneuroma, adjuvant chemo or radiotherapy is not indicated but regular follow-up necessary an early risk potential local recurrence. ganglioneuroma first being reported to best our knowledge. The aim study document a newly diagnosed entity at this site segregate more literature about it.
